I'm pretty new to the area and I'm looking for some interesting places to hike. Not anything extremely difficult - something the wife and kids and I can handle. I've heard about the Badlands and it sounded like a nice afternoon diversion, but I can't find anything about it (like how to get to it).
Can anyone help with this? Or let me know some other nice places to go within an hour or so drive from Bend that a family including an 8 and 10 year old can handle?
