my hubby loves the hot peppers for his sandwiches and the like, but I don't know if it's worth growing them... or if it's possible!

anyone with any experience in same?

we grow them and eat them like there candy Very Happy we are from texas and we really dont eat much without the pepper Very Happy

yes, i also being from Louisiana love the peppers. pickled in a salad on pizza in my Gumbo. they are fairly easy to grow yes just treat them as they are any other plant in a garden

I also found that they were amongst the easiest things to grow. I guess the art is in the quality and heat of the peppers that you grow. Heck, even if they were difficult to grow they'd still be worth it!
