Gory movie. I was surprised, definitely not disappointed, but surprised by the gore. I think it had more of it than the first. I thought it was a pretty good movie with a cracked door for the possibility of a Saw 3. Although unlike at the beginning of 2, you would know what's going on if they did make a 3. And that's all I am saying for the people who haven't seen it yet. _________________ evelio |

Yeah,it was pretty good. The story was pretty detailed and kept you thinking. I think i'll watch it again.

| I think the allure of the intial Saw was that, while watching the movie, you were thinking to yourself, wow are they actually doing a movie about this! But, for me at least, in Saw 2, it was more of the same, and it lost that kind of suspense thrilling sensation I got in the initial movie, good overall, but not the same "WOW" like the first one. |

| I'm still trying to understand the fascination with showing so much gore - I mean, isn't half the "horror" about NOT seeing what's going on and letting your imagination run wild? |

I agree with a couple of statements here - it didn't have the allure and "wow" of the first, but was pretty good. However, I don't know if my wife would agree as she fell asleep during most of the movie and we had paid to go to the theater! That's blasphemy!! Second, there really is a lot to be said about NOT showing all the gore. I mention Pulp Fiction as one of my favorite movies and people say "that was so violent" - however, if you really think about it you'll notice that a lot of the truly graphic portions were off the frame.
All that said, I'd probably go see Saw 3. |

| I've seen the original SAW, and was quite fascinated. I have yet to see SAW 2 though im not a big movie fan there always has to be someone out there to be the "copycat" in this case its Quinten Terrintino with his film Hostel. I am not a big fan of these "copycats" as Drumline spawned other battles between teams (you got served) and others |

| Both SAW's were sick and twisted. They were amazing. If you like that kind of stuff you will love this movie. |

| I have only seen the very first Saw movie and it was awesome. Didn't get anytime afterwards to see Saw 2. Is it as good as the very first SAW? Is it good enough to spend three hours? |

Yeah I have seen both and both were worth watching. Infact, Saw 1 is the best horror/suspense movie I have ever seen. Do watch these movies if you haven't yet.
Note : Not for people with weak hearts. |
