There are two things I hate buying and I'm unfortunately looking for / in the process of buying both:
Cars and houses.
In both cases, I hate the sliminess of it all and, especially in buying a house, the deception and hiding. I am looking for a car that is currently in-demand and luckily have ordered one but it is delayed. That prompted me to go looking for one in stock and I found a few. Great news? Not really - these places are asking for between $2,000 and 4,000 over the retail price! That's robbery. I guess I'll wait for mine. In the case of houses, it is all about hiding flaws and misrepresenting what is and isn't there. So much shadiness in such a major purchase. URGH!! Thanks for letting me rant |

| I have yet to buy either. While I look forward to owning both, I do not look forward to having to go through the process of actually buying them. |

Hmm two things that I upmost hate purchasing:
Well #1 at the top of my list is Gasoline
for my #2 spot would be hmm car parts to repair and maintain a vehicle.
Near my area, the gas prices are skyrocketing through the roof at $3.19 per gallong at Shell. And thats just unleaded regular! The premium v-power costs $3.43 per gallon!!! There has to be a stop to this one of these days!! The oil companies are making such a killing until an election comes up where their going to enforce and say lower your gas prices to get elected. Agh. Oh you got to love America!
Well for #2 well same with #1, especially for a college student. I can't afford a freakin 200x Honda Accord or Toyota product in that year range. Shiz I have a 1991 Toyota Corolla with 227K miles on it. Sure the powerplant purrs like a kitten, but seriously give us a break, we have enough payments and we don't need raising gas prices and inflated everyday prices. Ack >.< |

Agreed on the cars and houses. Just a pain all around!!
Disagree on the female products - have a wife and two daughters, grew up with three sisters and really don't find buying things like that embarrassing.
Disagree on gas too, yeah prices are going up but I take it none of you have had to drive for more than a few days in Europe? Gas prices are amazingly out of control there. We don't have it so bad. Should start a new thread asking why we're whining so much about gas prices. Buy a moped or a bicycle. |
