This contoversial topic is all over the news and I was curious on what are all your opinions. Cellphones really do hinder your reflexes while behind the wheel, but why doesn't the cellphone companies promote a safety warning? What are all your opinions with this?

Cellphones are killers while driving. There have been so many accidents lately because of people talking on cellphone while driving. I think Bluetooth Headphone is way to go to for safer drive and reducing the chances of accident.

It's interesting seeing some sets of data and officials announce that their hasn't been an increase in the amount of accidents compared to the year of 1991 or what not. The increase in the amount of accidents is prone to happen because of the population increase in the area. Pssh, sure thats true, but I have seen so many drivers go under the speed limit, swerving everywhere, and just really being a big risk on the road.

I agree, it too much risky to use cellphone while driving. Using cellphone while driving is not only risky for you but also for others driving or crossing the road etc. You can't concentrate on driving.

I think it should be prohibited to use cellphones while driving and if they found anyone violating the ruling, he should be fined. That way risk of accidents due to using cellphones can be decreased.

You would get a ticket if you are using cellphone while driving in my country. I think it is good thing to ban use of cellphones while driving. It has reduced the accident percentage caused my using cellphones while driving.

I don't think it is dangerous at all to use cellphone while driving if you are using a headset. Everyone should adopt this method to avoid risking their and others lives.

frankly speaking i do use cellphone while driving if its an important call but yes its damn risky as we all lately hear about accidents due to this reason so the best possible way is it to stop your car at roadside and attend your call ( which i usually do ) or use a headset ( which i mostly forget ) ..

Option 1 - Have it so that onl headsets would be allowed and fine people using cell phones without a headset while driving

Option 2 - Ban Cell phones/headsets completely for a year or 2 and see if the accidents go down
