| Seeing how Microsoft are always trying to find and achieve better ways to make their products perform over all their competitor's products. To me personally, the new windows operating system is another operating system for hackers to find the bugs and spots where they can break into. For me, I'll stick with Windows XP, but what are all you guy's opinoin about it? |

I think Vista will be good but not the very first version. Remember the XP Service Pack 1? It contained lots of errors/security holes but they fixed it in Service Pack 2.. So I'll get Vista after it is proven that there is no security issue. _________________ Poetry Love Poems - Love Poems, Gift Ideas & Much more... |

Have to agree with Qwerty, Never try Microsoft products when they are in Beta or even when it's first version is released. However in 2nd version, all bugs, security issues etc. get fixed when people encounter them and then it's the best time to get the product. _________________ No siggy |

| I installed its Beta version a few days ago. It was ok but very slow on my PC. Vista requires lots of resources. I'll have to buy a faster PC to run vista.. lol |

I don't like what I've experienced with lack of performance on the same hardware that runs XP very fast.
Overall, I'm in the same boat as many with Microsoft O.S. releases - wait until it stabilizes and let others work out the kinks. I was adamantly against Windows 98 for a while, then I stuck with 2000 when XP came out and am happy that I did so. |

| I have used Windows Vista Beta version and it was awesome (Graphics & some other features). There's a built-in DVD burner feature which is awesome. However, MSN Messenger Live Beta wasn't working very good on vista and was restarting again n again. |
