Gary Mckinnon from London was caught breaking into NASA computers in search of UFO proof and Anti Gravity Proof, he claims he never Broke any security as the NASA computers had a default password set which was 'BLANK' so no need for a password.
Anyway, the USA are trying to get him extradited to the USA and could face up to 70 years in jail where as he wouldn't face more than 5 years in a UK jail.
I would like to say, i dont think its fair that UK have signed a agreement that the USA can put a application to UK to extradite a member of the UK puplic if the USA think they have commited a crime, whereas the USA has refused to sign one for the UK.
I think this is unfair, and Gary Mckinnon should be tried in his own country!
yes i agree, people should be extradited to the country whose systems they've intruded. however just because it was a big organization like NASA i dont think the punishment should be as terrible whereas if it were just done to a regular citizens system you get like what 7 years?
