I thought it would interest some of you how much our President makes. Seems a little low to me, I'm not sure where's he's hiding his nestegg but it has to be somewhere. Cheney is doing pretty well for himself though, I wonder what he's going to be doing with his 1.9 million dollar tax refund! |

That link doesn't work, but I don't envy him his position and wouldn't take it for any amount of money. Presidents typically don't have a huge base salary and usually do, as mentioned, make much more in the private sector before and after.
And since Dick Cheney was brought up, it would be worth mentioning that he did make the largest charitable contributions of any elected official in history. Though I'd still have to question the Halliburton ties, that's a WHOLE different story |

| I would love to be President. I enjoy reading the news and debating politcal issues. I know it would probably be the most difficult job to ever have, but atleast it would make for a good story....right? haha |

| Well for me I couldn't handle the amount of B*l*s*it I would have to reveal to the public and lie my a** off just so I can get reelected. It's interesting when looking in depthin into what the president really does, its funny to see that he's really just a model figure, and just agrees or disagrees on whatever that happens to come up. Just my 2 cents. |

| If you were the president, or atleast a high government position, you could help change the world to how you saw fit. And if everyone was less complacent in their lives, and actually strived for something, the world would be a much better place. |

Not just the president. In fact, he may be in the public eye and under scrutiny too much to make as much of a difference as someone (or preferably a group of people) could make if they tried. |
