|
|
| Well to make a long description short, FireFox has made modifying, customizing, and advanced settings for advanced users and normal users so much better and more compared to the regular web browser Internet Explorer. Firefox allows extensions in which integrates into the web browser such as a pop up blocker or script blocker < very handy on blocking those in page ads you see flashing *yuck*. Firefox also isn't prone to being browser hijacks since the average computer user uses internet exlorer as their means in surfing the internet. Check it out at www.firefox.com |

I've switched to Firfox about 3 months ago and it is awesome. No hijacks of homepage, no popups, no spywares, no crashes... nothing..
The only thing which I haven't figured out about Firefox is when you turn off images to load then how to view images on same page. Whenever I click "View Image" (when images are set not to load while browsing), the image opens in new page which is not the case in IE. _________________ Webmaster Tools & Resources... |

| Ah the reason why the image loads in a seperate window is because Firefox uses and older version of the http algorithm codeing (some 2-4 versions behind internet explorers) the reason being, when you have automatic updates running it'll download the Internet Explorer patches automatically where Firefox you have to do it manually. All hackers look at this "auto update" as an opportunity to easily hack into a lot of user's information. |

I have been using firefox since last year and it has been great experience so far. The best thing which I like about Firefox is the Tabbed browsing. It saves a lot of memory and easily organize the website which you are browsing. _________________ Poetry Love Poems - Love Poems, Gift Ideas & Much more... |

Firefox is more secure than IE. Firefox doesn't automatically execute scripts (especially ActiveX). ActiveX controls are often run silently from IE, which isn't always a good thing. _________________ No siggy |
