| Well to be honest there really isn't an actual #1 anti virus software, but there are a few anti virus programs that possess a threat to the security of your comptuer. Some examples are: Norton, Mcafee, and probably the anti virus software that microsoft is coming up with. For me I use Antivir which is a free anti virus program that updates on a regular basis (1-2 times per day!) No joke. I really like the extensive work that has been put into Antivir and their software. Check it out! |

I have Mcafee Virus Scan and it works great for me. There have been very few cases of viruses with me though. Got them only twice because of spam screensaver emails.. lol

I'm not a techie but I have never installed any antivirus program on my PC ever & Luckily I never got infected. I only have Zone Alarm firewall which blocks all threats.

| I have a free antivirus program downloaded from pandasoftware.com and it works great for me. Btw, I also heard that Microsoft is making their own antivurs program? Is that true? |

| My favorite is AVG from Grisoft. Their free version is great for home use and I purchase their network version for corporate use at companies I work for or consult with in this capacity. |

| I dont have any antivirus but I use online scan at Mcafee's website to check my PC for viruses every month. Antiviruses slows down the PC and I dont want that. |

| As much as people say u do you really dont need one unless you go on a bunch of things you dont know about. yes it is true microsoft is creating a anit virus also |
