Other than one being really thin and the other being really bulky what is truly the real difference on why should you switch to a lcd monitor? Well if your like myself, I feel I don't need to purchase an lcd monitor yet, I noticed in my computing time, I want more desktop screen space. Grr. Well lcd monitors make that possible, but your paying for the same size of screen with a crt monitor but getting more! hence the higher price. =( Also the lcd monitors give off a lot less heat the the ol' crt monitors so you don't feel like your in an oven while computing. What are all your opinions with using an lcd or crt monitors.

I have an old CRT monitor and I'm quite satisfied with it. LCD monitors are still very expensive in this part of world. My monitor doesn't produce hear or may be I'm used to it now Smile
