It is the worst time of year. It's dark, it's usually raining or snowing, the traffic is terrible, people are assholes, I can't get into the mall to buy ordinary items I need like socks or jeans because the place is jammed with Christmas shoppers buying Playstations and other useless crap that's going to end up landfilled within six months. Then, everybody pretty much **** off and disappears from around mid-December through the first week of January. Good luck getting anything done, anyone to answer their phone or reply to your messages at work. Good luck getting a haircut, dental appointment or someone to come and shampoo your carpet or fix your toilet. I don't get to **** disappear from work for a week between Christmas and New Years. I have to **** be there, getting s*** done so the rest of you can pull your puds on the ski slopes or wherever the **** it is you vanish to. Christmas is ONE DAY, people. Why does it need to get stretched out to a full month? I always breathe a huge sigh of relief when New Years is over and everything gets back to normal.
