Mentioned I should start this topic in another rant, and decided to do so...
Why do we here in America whine so much about gas prices? Do you really think we have it that bad? Do you think that you couldn't have made a better decision about what to drive to save a bit of that gas?
Some of us seem to have a problem owning up to our part of the responsibility for managing something like gas use and cost. If I need to have lunch every day, but have a job that's too far to go home and eat, I make the decision to either buy it somewhere or pack one (obviously the latter is cheaper). Even then, I decide which products to buy and can get the cheapest, the best, or somewhere between. I can control the cost of a necessity and I do. Why don't a lot of us do the same with gas??
