I think the bureau's board of directors should ALL resign, including Gary Oliver. Its time we need to clean house and get some people in there that are willing to take risks, similar to what Glover did in his video production.
At least he had new ideas, and was willing to take a step outside the narrow little box of marketing tools the board seems to stick to, time and time again.
As a former ad exec, I'm perplexed as to why these people refuse to see that there are new promotional methods available in the 21st century. They need to open their eyes, try new things, step into the here-and-now (if not the future), and promote an area that most believe is so wonderful it promotes itself. Very little effort would be needed to do the job (and city) justice. _________________ Gary M.
