Don Knotts is a funny guy, it is a shamed. I can remember watching Three's Company and cracking up when he was on the show. He was really funny on Andy Griffith show also.

He was a funny, quirky dude. He was hillarious on The Andy Griffith show and Threes Company. He'll be missed. I thought he was a lot older than 81

Oh, my gosh...when he was Barney Fife ! The best Barney ever - when the escaped women convicts captured him and made him dance ! Movie favorite...The Ghost And Mr. Chicken ! Rest In Peace, Mr. Knotts.

I thought he died years ago. Does anybody remember the name of the movie he made where he was turned into fish?

I believe that was "The Incredible Mr. Limpet." Ya know, I always had a crush on that guy. He was hot in a geeky, nerdy, huge Adam's apple kinda way.... Wink

the guy was a classic. In my opinion he is one of the best comedians to ever live. And he loved doing it.

It is refreshing to see that he is remembered for much more than just Barney Fife and Mr. Furley! I used to love Mr. Limpet and a lot of the other (and many) crazy comedic films he was in.

Did you guys see that a NC town will erect a statue of him? http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060519/LIVING/605190324/-1/ZONES04
