Introduction to Wood Lathe Turning
Learn the basics of the wood lathe, one of the most popular tools in the wood shop. In this class students will create an object from beginning to end which involves mounting a wood blank to the lathe, rounding, shaping, sanding, and finishing. Objects that are made in this class are selected by the instructor and may include, bottle openers, bud vases, candlestick holders or other objects that can be used around the home, given as fun hand made gifts, or stand alone as pieces of art. The class
